Bummer! And they own it free and clear. So, no worries on title issues.

I looked into doing the same thing. If possible in your area get a 3-4 unit. You'll get more cashflow while living there.

another option is if you only find duplexes you could rent a room in your half.

3rd thing is to rent garage separately to max income.

I used a personal loan to help get my 1st property.  Easy. Low intrest. Idk of a better option.

Intrestng joel, there is no way I could ever get that much.

As for renting rv storage it seems like it would be a cut and dry way to add extra income without alot of hassle.

I couldn't find anything on craigslist.  So I'm guessing that's a good sign. (Low supply)

I'd planing on doing storage only. I'd write something up that they'd have to make an appointment to access the garage. So they don't disturbed the tennants.

I joined a local motorcycle group on Facebook(900 people) yesterday and asked if they would be intrested in storage.  Two different people commented saying people could keep bikes at their garages for free. So that was a fail. Lol

Hello friends!

I've found a 5 unit for sale. They bought it at a tax auction last year,  gutted it, and ran out of money. They just want out. The problem is that they some how now owe 10k in taxes because the did not get a reassessment after they bought it.

Could I get it reassessed and make the 10k they owe go away?

I'd like to buy it. The point is I'd like to get out of paying the extra 10k they need to pay taxes on a building worth 25k.. maybe.

Look foward to your responses!  Thanks!
