I hear this question all the time!  Sounds like you need the money soon, if so leave it where it is.  You might want to evaluate how the 10k fits in your overall situation.  There might be an opportunity to put the money to work.

@Daniel Kong this is not a great idea! Take that 20% and if you’re really bearish, stay out of stocks and hold as cash. A market downturn will likely impact real estate as well.
