The local tax office hasn’t been much help unfortunately. I’ll keep researching & hopefully someone can help provide some more insight. I appreciate you guys providing feedback. I’ve heard the same about a Quit Claim deed a few times now. @Jim Cummings @John Underwood

I’m new (ish) to this site. I’ve followed it for years & haven’t posted. I have a question & really need some insight please!

I bought a tax foreclosed home at the sheriff sale 8 months ago. The owner would like to redeem the home now & has the cash plus the 25% in hand. I’m ready to give the home back to him & make the 25%, however, I’m unclear as to how we should handle the paperwork side of the transaction. Is a simple Quitclaim deed filed at the courthouse in real property records the way to do this? Any advice is much appreciated guys!

Thanks Brandon

Hello BP community! What a great site with tons of great information.

I've been dabbling in Real Estate for a few years now. I've completed a few flips & have experience in Texas Tax Sales (which a couple of my flips have come from)

I decided a few weeks ago it was time to dive in & learn everything I possibly can about RE. I came across the BP site & now am addicted to this site. I've listened to 6 entire Podcasts in the past 24 hours! (OCD?) - Great stuff.

I'm looking forward to networking with people & being an integral part of this community!
