Everything I have been seeing has not been that close and time was an issue since Im working F/T. I def would like to meetup w/other investors, contractors, cash buyers, etc. And basically have connections w/other like minded individuals from what I hear in this business "Your Network is Your Networth." I'll take any info u can give...Thanks in advance

Hi Margarita Guillermo welcome to BP!!! Im in the NJ area as well and Im also a newbie..All I can say about this is that I was in a similar situation I paid for a 3-day seminar w/FB and at the end they wanted us to pay upwards of $50K for their programs..But the nugget that I recieved while there was WHOLESALING and I went home and dove right in on podcasts, RE books, and during all that I found this BP community which is awesome..I say just keep getting as much FREE info as you can and then look for a mentor and move along that way..Also try and talk to some of the wholesalers in your market and see if they may need some help and offer your services as a contractor and find deals for them (BIRDDOG) and see if they are interested in (JV) with you on the deals you bring if it makes sense for them and their buyers (ON THE JOB TRAINING)...Just get out there and do it...Of course you will make mistakes along the way but you can correct it on the more deals you do and improve on those mistakes..Go check out Sean Terry Flip2Freedom he is awesome and has a lot of good content..You are more than welcome to PM me and we can work through it together.... Happy Investing

I'm new to the RE Community and trying to get into the business. As of right now I have some leads from Driving for Dollars, Bandit Signs and a few other sources but I'm also trying to get some more leads because I haven't found a deal as of yet. Has anyone heard of thewholesalerstoolbox.com if so, is it a good source to generate some leads I mean you have to pay $30/100 properties with a minimum of $100 spending. I know we have to pay for marketing and leads but as a newbie any suggestions on starting out buying leads???

Welcome to BP Jennifer Sandusky im a newbie as well. I went to the FB 3 day seminar and its very informative but they will try and sell you on their systems and networking which range from $20K-$50K. Im happy I found BiggerPockets because you can get that same thing right here for FREE!!!!

Ro Maga Josh Caldwell I really appreciate all the valuable info you just dropped in my lap. I have been looking around BiggerPockets alot since joining and I can't wait to get started and post a story of success or obstacle that was put in front of me. I also see that everyone is helpful and willing to help whenever needed for anything that is a def+...Yea the highest Mastery is $50K. But there is always disclaimers and NO GUARANTEES!!!!
