@Ali Boone

Yeah Ali. I am a pilot recreationally and an aircraft mechanic for my 9-5. This whole question stems from reading a bp article that you wrote lol. Up until now I’ve been on the side of umbrella insurance and getting the easy/good financing but on this deal I’m kind of leaning the other way. So much information. So little time. Haha. Thanks

@Frank Maratta

Good point. And with the llc at least my other rentals are not at risk of being taken for something that could happen in this one. Thanks

Hello all,

So we have a few sfh rental properties and have kept them in our personal names and carried extra liability (umbrella) insurance for protection. But now we are buying our first 4-plex and are considering putting it in an llc. I know this topic can be very opinionated. Do we put this one in an llc since it’s a 4-plex or do we keep going in personal name and liability insurance? Are there great advantages or disadvantages? Thank you in advance!

Hi all. We recently acquired a property that we are going to brrrr. We decided to put the property in our LLC. This is our first time and I would like to know which commercial lenders are best for refinancing. We would like to do it once rehab is complete in the next 3 months. Thank you in advance for your help fellow BP’ers!
