Alright, so I received a call from a 75 year old gentleman who responded to one of my 'We Buy Houses' bandit signs. He began building a retirement home for he and his wife a few years ago. He's put $300k into it and is now in poor health and can't complete it. He just wants to sell and get back his $300k. He says it was estimated at $500k ACV (after completion value). Here's what I DO know: 6,000 ft, Solar powered, sits next to a lake on 5 acres. Has anyone dealt with a situation like this?

Hello, @Kevin Omalley. I purchased the Fast Track 2.0 from CI about 3 months ago (give or take) after watching the free webinar by Cody. As a total REI newbie, I went through the entire track, piece by piece, step by step, in building out my business. I have followed the systematic approach laid out by @Cody Sperber & Co. and I coudn't be happier with the takeaway. I've also purchased and began using his M5 Automated Marketing Machine (which is amazing).

The thing I like most about the track is the step-by-step approach for getting your business up and running. There is no guessing. They cover everything in great detail, as any real life mentor would. It's obvious that they genuinly care about your success. Not to mention, they keep you quite entertained throughout the learning process. I highly recommend them!

Hey guys & gals. My wife has been sick all day and needs some help with our three kids this evening. I will not be able to attend once again. I really thought the third attempt would be a charm. I wish you all the best this evening.

@Wayne Brooks, Zillow only provided the date while auction.com included date & time. My neighbor did respond to my text from earlier and said she wants to talk about it after she speaks w/ her attorney which is sometime today.

@Wayne Brooks, thanks for clarifying. I guess I was assuming it was still in pre. As I mentioned, I'm brand new to this and just trying to learn as I go along. I know that it is listed online just as I termed it - "Auction to begin on Nov 27 @ 1:00". I have not been able to speak with our neighbors to gain any more specifics as they have been unavailable. Sounds to be too late. Thanks guys.

'Deal' as in wholesale. I'm beginning my search for highly motivated sellers. I didn't have to look too far to find potential ones. Look, I appreciate the advice. I'm simply asking if anyone has had any experience with situations like this. And I don't mean to sound insincere. We want the best for our neighbors and we're more than happy to personally help out if needed. With that said, do I also view this as a potential 'win-win' scenario from a business perspective or do I leave it alone? You've made it sound like there's nothing an investor can provide for them at this point.

Hey guys. So, my wife and I knew there had to be something going on with our next door neighbors. Things have been very strange over there lately. Turns out, they're going into foreclosure. As a total newbie looking to do my first deal, how do I approach this the right way? The wrong way? Thanks ahead for the advice!   FYI - auction is scheduled to begin November 27

Is noon your only option? We usually work until about 2 on Friday's. I'd totally be available around 2:30.

Haha.. You know what? I'm not either. I'm a newbie but ready to start doing deals. I've learned a bit and have set up a lot of stuff already but need to take some action. Looking to network with others in the KC area.
