What’s up BP Community!

So I was talking to my local Real Estate Agent and I was telling her that I was interested in looking at Foreclosures/REO property's I was recently approved for a 203k/Conventional HFAloan. and she said Because so many people's ability to earn income was impacted by the stay at home order, the gov't forbade lenders to foreclosure on anyone. That order hasn't been lifted As the dust settles from COVID, we will start to see the distressed sales and foreclosures increase, unfortunately. Is this true information? My location is Northern California. Modesto California. Please advise and thanks to you all in advance!

What’s up BP Community!

So I am currently shopping for my 1st investment property! My Loans of choice that I am considering is a 203k loan or a Conventional HFA Loan. I was wondering and curious to seek information on Auctions and Forclosures for my 1st property investment. Are there any members that are familiar with the buying process or have any experience regarding these types of properties. Thank you all in advance and appreciate any type of information posted!

@Brian Briscoe Very well put Brian I will definitely do just so I appreciate the wise information given! I have the Agent and now currently getting the finance in the works. I’m just still having trouble with how to know if I am getting a good deal or not? California housing is expensive but still no excuse for not being able to analyze potential deals is a challenge for me at the moment.
