Generally, you only need to do a publication on fictitious business names and not new corps or llc's.

I'm looking for your comments and opinions on a recent webinar we ran. It is being replayed at www.bpharding.com/reiwebinar

Specifically, I want to know what other topics you would find valuable or areas that you would find beneficial for me to expand on in future webinars.

Infinite thanks for your time.

Simply containing a disclosure of "this isn't legal advice" doesn't negate the fact that legal advice may be included. The laws surrounding unauthorized practice of law are very generic and so wide in scope that virtually anything could be morphed into being considered giving legal advice.

Look at the National Association of Consumer Advocates. Most people will find their site rather easily based on search terms but there's always a lot of consumer protection attorneys out there looking to make an easy buck. What specifically is your main concern? Feel free to pm or call as I would be happy to speak with you.

bump

Mold claims have become a highly litigated area of law over the past few years. As Marcia said, document everything as there could at least be a contributory negligence factor that comes into play based on them not contacting the contractor.

As for rejection letters, if you pull credit, you must provide one. Another issue is what is actually included in the letter to be in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Most people include the contact info for whatever credit bureau they used but the Act specifies that you have to provide the actual physical address as opposed to a p.o. box.

Provided you put consent language in your lease agreements, there should be no issue. Without it, you can still face violations of the TCPA, 47 U.S.C. 227 et seq.. There's tons of caselaw on texting cases.
