I was just surprised when I saw the sub-forums already there that PB was missing (given that there was a Hialeah board).

My apologies for not being clearer......I was referring to a sub-forum within the Florida forum.

Hello:

Has there been any discussion of a Palm Beach (and surrounding counties) board?

Bob

Hello:

I just discovered this resource in my journey to learn more about RE Investing and to get started on this exciting 2nd career.

This is a great resource and I want to take everyone here who participates and helps those of us seeking guidance. I am happy to contribute in any way I can.

I am an attorney (originally licensed in PA but taking the bar exam here in Feb), Engineer, Construction and Homebuilding professional.

In PA I worked with a shop of other attorneys buying tax sale and sheriff sale (foreclosures in PA) properties. It was the single best job of my life and one of my goals here in FL is to pursue that avenue as well as income producing properties (my main goal). HOA liens also look interesting here in FL. Hopefully I can leverage my "in-house" legal skills to minimize the costs of such an operation. I would certainly be willing to partner with a more seasoned person in this sub-area of RE investing if I can bring value to the relationship.

I have also worked for large home builders for the last 17 years in areas such as land entitlements and business operations. So I have good construction knowledge and a pool of local contractor contacts.

Finally, I also have some good RE Agent contacts in the market, but there seems to be no shortage of quality agents here as well.

Thank you,

Bob

Hello:

If they don't work out let me know.  I can get you more names from other sources.

Good Luck,

LOL!  Thanks Ned.  Not sure I am much competition yet (except maybe competing to buy the bad deals <g>).

Hello:

I have worked with SPECIALTY ENGINEERS CONSULTANTS in Boynton before.  My work was with testing so I am not sure if they have a structural engineer on staff.

Hello All!

New here and just getting started in RE Investing.  Living in PBG now.

This is a great resource.  Hoping to attend the coffee meet up in Delray soon!
