@James Gates Congratulations James! A couple questions. Are all your properties in the Huntsville area? If not where else?

And how did you go about hiring your GC? (A big concern of mine when it comes to long distance investing) I'm assuming the physical trip to Huntsville was a big difference. Again Congrats!

@Craig Curelop Living in Northern NJ just outside NYC is very expensive. A Two family in a decent town can go for 400K with 12K yearly taxes. Househacking and still paying $1400/mo. mortgage makes no sense to me.....any suggestions?

@Lane Kawaoka

Good Morning, I'm very interested in the Birmingham market. Do you know any PM's and/or Realtors in the area that you would recommend?

Thanks in advance.

Please connect with me if you can get me some painting, contractor connections. Thanks!

 Hello,

I'm interested in investing in Birmingham and wanted to know how has it gone for your three rentals over the last year?  Did you find any Contractors or PMs in the area?

Thanks in advance.

Hello All,

I've inherited a 3br 1ba home in Winston-Salem, NC.  I would like this property to be my first buy and hold property however I live in New Jersey.  I have been reading up on long distance investing but wanted to reach out and get opinions about what to look out for.  My biggest concerns are of course hiring a good team.  Any suggestions on Contractors, Property Management Companies and Real Estate Agents would be appreciated.  Also, if anyone is familiar with the Winston-Salem/Greensboro area (I have visited the are for years but am not familiar with Real Estate Industry there) your feedback would be great also.

Thanks.

Hello my name is James Middleton and I live in Jersey City, NJ. I am brand new and am looking to purchase a Multi-Family property and get an FHA Loan and qualify for the 203k loan. After my initial purchase I would like to purchase a property at least once a year. I'm interested in nearby counties (Hudson, Essex, Bergen and Union). I'm open to suggestions as I have just begun. I currently work in IT and have lowered my debt and raised my credit score to a respectable level and if there are any questions or suggestions please contact me. Thank you.
