My company has bases of operation in CA and IL, but coincidentally enough we are seriously looking at Birmingham and Huntsville as areas of special interest.  We have investments in IA and GA with two more in IA in the works. 

As both buyers and private lenders on lower $ ARV SFR properties throughout the U.S., we also will entertain JV and wholesale assignments. AL is actually front and center on our radar.

We are looking do more outside of our local area (suppose even Lake County) if the numbers work, the deal secure, our partners have a solid track record, and we are not looking at a war zone.

We do have a SFR JV scrape-and-build in the Kirkwood area of Atlanta that will be complete and sold by next month. A win-win for all parties. We want to do more. We are not fazed by investing outside our local area as long as the numbers work, the deal secure, partners have a solid track record, and we are not looking at a war zone.
