I am under contract for an 11 unit beach front property closing in January. We would be offering weekly rentals in the summer. Monthly in the off season. A major expense is commissions for CCards that I’d like to move away from. I’d like to consider wire transfers, Venmo, PayPal Payments Advanced, etc. im wondering what others are using to avoid these high merchant fees. Thanks all!
@John Underwood Thanks John. I’d still provide a service if some kind. Just not cable. Maybe a YouTubeTV, Netflix, etc. some combination. Need to sit and think it through.
@Michael Greenberg thanks Mike. I need to really think itbthrough since there are also long term renters in the off season. Cable is just so ridiculous.
I’m working on finalizing a deal for an 11 unit beachfront property. Short term rental in the summer, long term in the off season. Cable/internet is included. I’ve cut the cord in my personal life years ago. I’m assuming this will work in the rentals as well. Has anyone gotten significant pushback from renters when leveraging Roku, Apple TV, Etc? Also curious what some options are for lowering internet costs. Thanks!
