@greg Lott

Welcome to BP! I live in Mechanicsburg. I don't currently have any properties but I have also been consuming as much information as possible over the last few months and now I am actively looking to purchase a multi-family property in Central PA.

@Amit G. I apologize for hijacking your thread but it looks like there has already been some deviation from the original thread so I figured I would jump in and introduce myself.

This is my first post on Bigger Pockets.

My name is Brenton and I live in Mechanicsburg. I have been browsing the forum for about a month now and I was surprised when I came across this thread and learned there were a number of people in my area on Bigger Pockets.

My goal is to purchase a duplex or a triplex (renovate it if necessary) and have it fully rented by the end of 2017. I knew ten years ago when I graduated college that I wanted to get into investment real estate but I never felt like it was the right time (aka I didn't feel like I had enough money) to be able to purchase a property. There may never be a perfect time in my life to get into investment real estate so I have decided to learn as much as I can by listening to podcasts on Bigger Pockets and reading books such as Rich Dad Poor Dad, The ABC's of Real Estate Investing, and The Millionaire Next Door.

I am interested in connecting with other investors in Central PA and this thread seemed like a great opportunity to introduce myself.
