Hi! My name is Beverly and I am looking to connect with airbnb hosts in the area who might be interested in offering and or connecting their guests with a baby/toddler gear rental company. As a wife and mom who has moved across country four times and traveled with tiny tots and a baby I know the stress of having or sourcing necessary essentials like pack n' plays, sound machines, baby monitors, outlet covers, high chairs etc. to help keep me sane! I would love to offer item(s) and/or bundles to airbnb hosts and their guests so that guests don't always have to feel pressured to hosting a child/children and providing all the gear a guest might ask for...however it would also take the time and burden of purchase, dropping off, and storing baby gear and equipment. Equipment in the forms of large items like strollers and car seat to small items like sound machines and portable black out curtains! I can connect your guest with a better sleep, outdoor gear, toy package etc that would meet their traveling needs! Please don't hesitate to reach out here.

Hello, Hola! I am an investor myself and work with two property management agencies overseeing one in state and one out of state investment properties. I also self managed one rental property while living out of state. I am seeking an employment opportunity where I can serve as a liaison between landlord and tenant(s) where there is a language based communication barrier. Being fluent in Spanish, professional, experienced and passionate about property management, and an excellent communicator there is a lot I can bring to the table! Looking for employment within the triangle and also a desire to work remotely with a flexible schedule and my availability includes evenings and weekends. If anyone is in need of a translator or administrative assistant I would like to connect! My hourly rate is open to negotiation. I am eager to learn and would love to connect to other BP enthusiasts! Gracias! Thank you!

Investment Info:

Single-family residence fix & flip investment in Hanapepe.

Cash invested: $8,000

My husband and I purchased a cute 864 sq foot cottage. We renovated the entire home with plumbing and electrical work. We gutted and renovated a kitchen, bathroom, and restored the homes original hardwood floors. We did a lot of landscaping and we painted the entire home inside and out.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

We wanted to find a home outside of Raleigh but still within Wake County that would allow our family to explore the area. We wanted a small single story home to renovate and bring back its charm and bring life to the street!

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

My husband connected with a neighbor in the area we were renting in while looking to buy a home and his father was selling the home. We met with his father to tour the off market property as he was making some updates. We offered to purchases it as is and the deal was made!

How did you add value to the deal?

We gutted a kitchen and bathroom making it much more functional for a family to live in and enjoy. We added all new appliances, restored the hardwood floors, painted the home inside and out and did a lot of landscaping.

What was the outcome?

We were able to live in the home and enjoy it until we outgrew it and it is now a rental property that I self manage.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

It is essential to be able to communicate very clearly and receive very itemized estimates for any work contracted out!

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

Yes, our lender in North Carolina was a pleasure to work with as was our realtor!
