Am pretty learning right now. I've met with a mentor hopefully to get my feet wet. But I am looking to do mostly residential properties. I've been looking into wholesaling for now but the time restrict me a lot. I'll keep on learning and try to save more cash as well to start this process the right way.

Joined BP close to a month ago. I've been pretty active on BP posting, chatting etc but for the past two weeks and half my job have been requesting my presence more and more. Thank goodness am off today and am ready to post and get to know some new and not so new investors. Hello BP WORLD hope everything been awesome for everyone. Even though I haven't been able to post I peeked in here every now and then. Keep up the good work everyone.

Hi me and wife working on our first REI and I decided to go with a duplex or triplex here in Orlando FL. We were initially going to buy a new built single family home but decided to stop the process to pursue REI and maximize our returns overtime. We researched a lot about it but mostly what we getting is a lot of complications that comes up especially with tax. Is there anybody in this forum that started with a duplex/triplex as a buy and hold in Florida. How was the process specially with financing? How was the experience? We're looking to live in one unit and rent out the other for a year and half to save as much as we can. I believe then will be able to start investing more with more cash in hand. Please if you have started this way please elaborate. Thank you.

Thank you to everyone who responded to me when I was introduced to BP a week ago. If you just starting out don't be afraid to ask for help. I was able to meet with a great mentor today just now Dan Oliver. He was able to not only help me with a plan but also I will be able to ask question anytime I want. Stay true to what you want to do in this life. We were able to put a plan for the next six seven months. I will update in this forum on how my first deal went a buy and hold. Thank you again.
