Hey everyone!
I am looking to grow more in the Volusia County markets (New Smyrna Beach, Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach) and was wondering if there are any real estate groups and/or meetups in the area. I’d love to hear any and all that are available.

Thanks so much!

@Michael Baum I've personally always been interested in the long-term potential of these 2 markets. Both are extremely high cash flowing markets (some of the top in the whole country), as are many other cities in OH. However, these 2 in particular also boast much stronger appreciation potential and lower crime rates than Cleveland, Akron, Dayton, etc. The icing on the cake for me is that both have major universities (Ohio State & UC), which fosters market stability/growth, brings in tons of different medium-term rental prospects (travel nurses, researchers, contractors), and ultimately allows for an additional exit strategy (RBTR) if needed. My personal exit strategy tiers for the market ideally would be MRT, STR, RBTR, then LTR. Just want to verify some things first haha!

The STR's in Florida are amazing, so I just want to mix things up a bit and break into the MTR market as well.

Hey all! Right now, I operate 5 short-term rentals in Florida and have considered getting into the Columbus, OH market for medium-term rentals, and possibly STR for a part of the year as well. I am curious as to whether anyone could give me the breakdown for STR regulations in Columbus, OH? Also, if you are aware as well, if these regulations are similar for Cincinnati as well? Thanks in advance!

Hey @Andrea Diaz! My meetups are specifically geared towards short-term rentals and you are more than welcome to come even if that’s not your main niche! I’d also recommend getting in contact with @Bernadeau C.. He runs an incredible real estate group in Orlando and there are multifamily focused events from time to time!
