@Michael Kinsella

So the cost of the property is 44k to buy and would need 40k or so. I assume I should get a professional in there to see how much everything is gonna cost so I get an idea of what I’d be working with.

I found an amazing opportunity for a fixer upper but its going to need a good amount of work done about 20k to 40k on the high end. I want to look at securing a construction loan but I don’t have a huge knowledge base on that. I was hoping somebody who is knowledgeable would be able to help me out? Thanks so much for reading.

Hey Everyone,

I’ve built up a good knowledge base and am ready to start my real estate journey. I want to expand somewhat quickly so I was wondering what you think of fix and flip live in situation. So I’d live there for a year and have a roommate or two then flip the house after I’ve added value then go into duplex’s or higher. My end goal is to own an apartment complex’s (10-50 or more units) per complex but I know I will need the capital to get there. What do you guys think??

So I’m looking at purchasing my first property via house hacking but I’m worried that I might not get a tenant for months or something like that. How do I get tenants and go about the process of making sure there a good tenant. I’m also somewhat tight on cash. I have no liabilities except $100 for car+gas. Ahhhh just very un easy at the moment. Anybody else go through this for the first purchase. I don’t want to purchase a house with to much work so I can get a tenant in pretty quickly.

@Shanna Vataj thanks so much for the information. I’m going to get a real estate license to be a property manager or some sort of real estate job but not an agent just so I can leave my current job that has nothing to do with real estate
