I just relocated to Columbus Ohio. looking to buy my first investment property by the end of this year. I am super nervous. Any advice as to where to start? I have about 50k saved for downpayment?

Hey guys, I am planning on relocating to Columbus Ohio from New York by the end of the year. I’m visiting for the first time in August. And eventually wants to buy an investment property. Any landlords or investors with short term rentals were I can reside when I visit and hopefully talk about real estate?

@Andrew Postell yea I plan on buying out of state and also a duplex as an owner occupied . is it possible to find a lender here before I relocate to the new state? thanks for your input.

what do you guys think about rocket mortgage by quickenloans? Anybody used them to obtain a mortgage loan as a first time home buyer? Do they have good rates compared to other mortgage companies or banks?
