Seeking advise.  I acquired a property via a succession in Louisiana that still has existing financing in place under the deceased person's name.  How do I insure the property without triggering a due clause or having to refinance it?

Benjamin

Is this still in effect relative to the number of MH bought/sold by state?

Does anyone have recommendations on an institutional or other funding source for MHP purchases?

Anyone find a funding source?  I'm trying to get funding for a portfolio of MHs.

I'm considering buying an investment single family property and want to use seller financing.  Is the mortgage interest deductable?  Does the seller have to do anything specific on his end if so?

Great question James.  Glad to know someone else out there was wondering the same thing as me.  Thanks BP Community for responses/help.

Braden, are you familiar with CivicSource?  I noticed that some of the parishes down there use it.

Hello Braden.  Thanks for your response.  I'm interested in pursuing properties a little north of you in the Alexandria and surrounding area which is were I'm from.  As a new investor seeking my first deal, that is a geographical area that I am pretty familiar with.  Aside from straight/common deals, are people in central/south La starting to warm up to wholesaling/assignments?
