Hey Everyone!

Rob (the owner of) Taylor Made Masonry was knowledgeable, priced below market, courteous, cleaned up after himself, was speedy and I will definitely look to him for masonry work in the future. One of my best contractor experiences.

Hey There,

I've decided to use "Taylor Made Masonry" in Cincinnati to do some brick work on my property.

The guy seems legit, offered a fair price and seems to know his stuff. Has anyone used this company before? Any crazy horror stories that can be your lesson instead of mine?

I'll update after the work is completed. Have a good gut feeling about the guy.

Hey There,

I was told that you don't have to get a permit to install your own Mini-Split Heat Pumps if you instead get certification for installing them. My understanding is that Johnstone Supply runs some courses to get certified.

Does anyone know which course a person would need to take to become certified to install a Mini-Split Heat Pump so that they do not have to get a permit for installing them?

Or does this sound like crazy talk?

Thanks guys N gals!

Hey There BP!

I'm looking to hire a handyman to assist me with my rehab in Northside, Cincinnati.

Can anyone refer a knowledgeable, reasonably priced handyman?

I've gotten burned in the past.

Can anyone vouch for/know of Robert Taylor or James Willis with 1st Choice Construction?

THANKS!

That is not the case. Mitsubishi, LG, Daikin and another company provide several models that heat to below zero degrees Fahrenheit.

Hey Guys N Gals!

I have a fourplex (2 one beds, 2 two beds, w/separate gas/electric meters) in Northside Cincinnati, OH. I am rehabbing them to be higher end. What is a cost effective way to provide heating and cooling for these units that isn't too low end? I'm leaning towards mini split ductless heat pumps but they are expensive upfront and may not provide enough heat in the winter time. Ideally, I'd like to have the residents pay for the heating and cooling.

THANKS for your responses!

Jeff Milby cheated me out of $650. He is a carpenter out of Dayton, OH. He agreed to install cabinets for me and never showed. Do NOT hire him. Below is a picture of him.

Hi everyone,

If anyone can refer a handyman in the Merced area for fence repair and door screen repair that would be much appreciated. In fact, any recommendations for a Merced handyman are appreciated as I've had different types of problems come up, and the Merced handymen I've worked with in the fast have charged a lot and the work has not always been great. Thanks!
