Hello, my friend is checking out a property and was inquiring about what a full deep scale rehab would be. It is basically only frames. Nothing else. The square footage is 1260.

I personally have not a full rehab like this only a cosmetic rehab. So I am curious to know what others think. I have attached the pictures.

Thanks for everyones help!

I have any opportunity to go to school in Ohio and add another property to my Ohio portfolio using a FHA Loan. The city I want to use an FHA loan is in columbus and my college is Sanduskyabout 2.5 hours away. So this is my plan.

So I will be going to school in Sandusky and renting an apartment. I will buy a property with an FHA loan, keep one room for myself and add a bunch of belongings in this room. So it looks like im staying there. My majority time will be spent in sandusky Ohio. I will come back to Columbus and stay in my room for some days and weekends.

How often does FHA come and check on the house? Could my roommates report me?

Hey BP folks! Been doing more research on the STR and have discovered about 20 STR markets. However, basically all these markets have very high median home prices or they are oversaturated. Im wondering at this point, how realistic is it to find a good market, without over saturation or to high price points?

Hello folks, what process did you use to get your first STR? Was it recent or many years ago. Did you buy in all cash and use the BRRR method or did you do conventional financing? I have been spending lots of time on neighborhood scout and have created a spreadsheet of many different cities. I am curious to know what you guys did though?

Hey Biggerpocket folks! I am going to be analyzing some short term rental markets! What do you use for the best place to get information about the laws and regulations?

Thanks for all the replies, I am going to see if I can finish the floors. One contractor said that it was too thin, warped and damage. So I may have to just lay LVP.

Hello Biggerpocket Folks!

I am going to be putting luxury vinyl planking in the entire downstairs (kitchen, living room, etc.) However, what can I do with these stairs? I dont think the wood can be salvaged, nor will it match with the floor?

Should I paint the backdrop white and put vinyl planking, or will this cost too much money? I heard vinyl planking on stairs is very expensive.

Should I do carpet?

Thanks everyone!
