@Jean Bolger , thank you very much for your input.  It is very appreciated.  I am definitely going to connect the 2.  Since I am still not licensed as of yet I still have time to decide which one to use as the primary.  The company helping to build my site mentioned lubbocktexasproperties.com because of the size of Texas.  He felt that someone in Houston or San Antonio would not necessarily want to hit on my site.  Makes since to me.  However, if I link them together they might both pull in possible customers from all areas.  lubbocktexasproperties.com does  suggest the area that I am located as well as having 3 key words.  If someone wants to search for properties in Lubbock, Texas I will have a very good chance of being the first site they will hit on.  Hence the 3 key words in the domain.  If I ever move out of lubbock I will still have buyselltexasproperties.com as a link that has been online and associated to me.  Branded if you will.  Not sure if it works exactly like that but I am learning.  Thank you so much for replying.

Have an Incredibly Blessed Day! Beck

@George P.  and @Luke H.   I agree with both of you.  I tried lubbockproperties.com but it is only available for $1200.00 so I think I will stick with the http://lubbocktexasproperties.com  Hey I got 3 keywords in a 3 word domain.  It does not get any better then that.  I got lucky, the stars are aligned. Thank you very much for commenting I appreciate it. Oh and yes I will be linking the 2 domains.  Hey why not, I bought them both might as well use them both.

Have an Incredibly Blessed Day,

Beck

Hey Michelle, welcome back to Denver and the beautiful state of Colorado!  I use to live in Summit County for about 11 years.  Often wonder what i was thinking when I left.  Maybe someday I will get to move back to the mountains.  Welcome to BP and look forward to reading your posts.  So much to learn here it is hard to keep up.

Hey everyone, I was not sure where to post this question so I hope it is found here.  I just purchased my website through placester.  I picked up 2 domain names because I could not decide on which one so I bought them both. Now I need to decide which one to use for my site.  Please give me your honest opinion, and I truly appreciate your feedback.

www.buyselltexasproperties.com

www.lubbocktexasproperties.com

I live in lubbock,Texas  but of course when I finally get my license I will be licensed for the state.  Anyway, I am stuck on the small stuff.  I appreciate any and all advice.  It seems Property or Real Estate domains are hard to find so I felt blessed to have discovered these 2.

Cheers,

Beck

@Jean Bolger I agree with you 100% and it has to be a lot of work to keep it that way. Hats off to admin for the terrific job of keeping this site user friendly and not overwhelmed with biz opps and other annoying ads.  This place is awesome and in only 2 days I have already learned a lot! Cheers, Beck

@Jeff Smith Hey Jeff, if you look at my introduction post I also got banned after only sending out something like 4 request.  I copied the same message and pasted into each and that was the signal that put the ban on.  I think I said something to the effect "Hi my name is Becky and I would like to know if  we can connect"  That was it no promotion of any kind.  However, I did copy and paste the same message into each one and that was all it took.  Less then 14 minutes and I was "Spam Banned"

:-)  They are really awesome here and I am sure they will get you fixed back up quickly.

Have an incredibly Blessed evening,

Becky

Wow, I just read through this entire thread and have learned a ton of great information that never crossed my mind as far as being a landlord goes.  I guess I need to count my blessings, when we moved here from Folly Beach, SC

#1 we were living in a hotel because the company that moved us here paid for a whole month.

#2 I was not working and Kelly had just started his job.

#3 We both had terrible credit, which we are both working on repairing now as I speak

#4 Only lived in Texas for 1 month.

To our credit we had left our previous landlord in good standing and had rented from them 2 times in a 3 year period.  Although the first time did not end as planned I still left them with the condo in perfect condition and all rent paid. I have never left a property that would need a cleaning person to come in after I left.  In fact I pride myself that when I leave it is in better condition then when it was rented to me.  I will even go to the extent of painting a room(s) if need be.  With that said, I am unsure if many of you would of rented to me and Kelly based on reasons #1 through #4.

I am glad I found this thread the information in here is priceless.  :-)

Have an incredibly blessed day! Beck

@Kenneth Hynes Thank you very much for the Good Luck comment, I will put that in my pocket until Tuesday (I rescheduled) I am so looking forward to looking at a lot of properties.  It is one of the main reasons I decided to go into Real Estate as a new career choice.  My landlord owns about 30 homes and is doing very well for himself and really seems to enjoy the investing part of it.  I have no financial future prepared and Real Estate seemed to be the wisest choice for accomplishing that goal.  Wish I would of thought to do this sooner but hey it's never to late unless you just never do it. Have an incredibly Blessed day.

To Your Success, Beck
