Hi all, I have a question about mid term rental properties.  My goal is to achieve REPS status next year, via multi-family rental properties.  But I would like to learn more about MTR properties as well-can I also gain REPS hours from MTR properties?  Thanks so much!

Hi, I have a friend who has been very successful in buying and renting commercial warehouses. My goal for next year is to get REPS status, and I am wondering if warehouse rentals apply towards REPS hours the same as any other residential type rental properties do?  Also, any thoughts on commercial warehouse space rentals, pros/cons etc, is welcome! Thanks!

following as im interested myself. my father retired 20 mins outside of Branson and we always have a good time there. was just there last week of Sept and weather was great. area wasnt very busy though, and amusement was empty, got on rides with kids with practically no wait.

Yeah, hard to say what the demand would be?  There is also Table Rock Lake and all the attractions and nature in that area as well.  So not sure about the demand?

I know someone that has 5 there and are actively buying more because it has been so good for them.

That’s great to hear! Thx!

Hi all, my husband and I have been looking for a STR property along the gulf coast, but recently became interested in Branson, MO. Does anyone currently invest in this area? I'd love any thoughts you have on if this is a great market to buy in right now, or not? Anyone know if it's saturated, and how well it's doing for investment STR? With the economic changes going on, we also want to invest in a stable market that will weather a recession relatively well. TIA for your input!

Thanks so much for all of the input!  Great points to consider, for sure.  Appreciate it!

Any thoughts on beach condo vs townhome/house for a STR investment property? Looking in Gulf Shores area.

Condos seem more available for purchase, and also often come with better views/accessibility to the beach.  But single homes or townhomes seem to have better value and be perhaps more desirable as a rental property.  Although we would not be able to purchase a home with the same beach views as a condo for similar price.  I know condos also come with more complexity with HOAs, and mortgage terms as well.  Would love to hear any thoughts on pros/cons of each?  Thanks!

What state are you in? Can refer one to you in Texas

We are looking in FL along panhandle.  Appreciate it though!
