Yes Remax Haven is still working out for me :) Mike Azzam is a realtor that also works for the same Remax office and he works with investors frequently. It would be a smooth transition to work with him to buy a property and hand it off to property management at the same office. Good luck!

@Christopher Smith I have all of those things in place. What is new to me going forward will be partnering with someone.

@Eamonn McElroy thank you for the tip! It's always great to know these things ahead of time.

Thank you all for your helpful replies and the articles you referred me to.

@Christopher Smith The LLC is something we are looking into because we will be partnering and want to keep our business separate from our personal finances, but we are still researching and are open to other ideas. Do you have any other recommendations to set up a partnership?

I bought my first rental property last year and would like to move on to my next investment. However, due to my current situation, I cannot purchase another buy and hold as I would have liked. I am currently furloughed and will likely be laid off, so securing a mortgage in my name is not an option at this time. I have $35,000 set aside to invest. Do you have advice on how I should use this money? Would partnering and lending my money be an option, or? Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

@Gwen Fyfe Thank you so much for your insight. It is great to get opinions from investors in the same city as my property.

I need to get quotes for a roof replacement on my duplex in Bedford ASAP. Does anyone have any great recommendations for roofers in the area?

Thank you all for your helpful responses. @Kenneth Garrett the roof seemingly has a leak as my upstairs tenant just reported this to property management. This is what prompted my post. I am waiting to hear back on the situation and then see from there if the roof can be patched until I can save for a replacement. @James Mc Ree I should mention that the basement wall is a bit concave where the crack is, but the previous owners stated that the basement was leak-proofed during their ownership. It is not currently causing a problem but something I've been thinking about.
