Anyone have insights on variable pricing systems for VR's? Currently using Everbooked, which has been good in some ways, but I'm finding it to be expensive and not meeting my needs.

Would love to hear what other people are using.

@Michael Kugler it's great to hear your experiences and inspires confidence in a lot of us for sure. I began renting or my condo full time and have had gangbusters results.  Couldn't agree more with the thoughts on high amenities and high level of service. The extra few dollars each time is absolutely worth it.

Any strategy in terms of website? I've been considering building one but not sure if it's worth it...thoughts?

@Leigh Ann Smith I think if you use Guesty as a calendar booking app they can do it. If it were me, I would make a third listing and then block/sync availability using Guesty or Hostaway to assist with auto-blocking those dates for reservation.

@John Boby Depends on the by laws of the HOA. Do you have the HOA docs? You should get that from the previous seller. Sometimes HOAs may put in unique restrictions in order to preserve the perception of the building, such as "50% of all units must be owner-occupied". This makes it easier for banks to finance buyers when the condo owners go to sell, and it also is built with the intent that people will take care of their unit if they live there.

Regardless, you'll need to get the docs. Also, if the board has voted on it, they are probably right. What is the restriction?

David I've used Thumbtack (a service outsourcing website) to build a list of leads with quotes quickly - some of these leads have turned into my team in the Boston area.

I don't have a specific handyman in mind but @Brandon Ingegneri might be able to help.

Best of luck!
