@Antoine Martel,

We are just getting our first flip on. I believe I have raised the seed capital required over many years of saving and cost management. I am just wondering if there is some sort of construction type ratio involved I can use to compare the costs of labour and materials to. Maybe this ration can be devised after some feedback? (I spent some time teaching math, I love ratios!)

When considering long term value, is my capital better spent on Seed lawn or turf? What is the current fashion, what are the average homeowners seeking in a lawn solution? I prefer seed, as the natural grass has such a lovely smell when cut, but after talking to some friends, I realize that that sentiment is certainly not universally shared!

@Joshua Greenberg, you may want to repost this in the Nevada investment forum, you will likely get more answers there! Keep trying! Seed Capital is best raised at home, you will find the money you seek through effective budgeting and perseverance. Good Luck!

Thank you for all the great responses! I see @Adam Ward, you have mentioned meet ups. By that do you mean meetup.com? I haven't had a lot of success with meetups yet, people seem to be quite flaky. I will definitely look into the local REIA meetings. Seems like a very professional environment. Thanks!

Hello, is there a golden ratio to the amount of Seed Capital that's wise to spend on different parts of the process? How much should, for example, go toward materials, compared to labour, etc.? Is there a ratio that works for you?

Hello, first time poster here! I don't spend much time on Forums, but my nephew has recommended Biggerpockets to me as a real estate agent who would like to experiment more actively with investment. What does biggerpockets do for you?
