Hello, after reading some of the posts here and listening to the podcasts, I have realized that wholesaling is not exactly as easy as stated by other wholesalers. As a newbie getting into REI, what do you guys think is the best section to focus on that is a bit more practical and not as misleading?

I am just getting started at this time.

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do next after reaching out to my REIA group? The next meeting is a few weeks away but I would like to be learning & working on it before the next meeting. Any suggestions on the next step?

Any tips for when trying to contact your local REIA for a week and not hearing anything back? I've left an email, Facebook request, message as well as Website Request and still have not heard back anything. Any ideas? Also, if anyone would like to network from others from the Lubbock, TX area, I'm here!

Hey! Avonte here. Completely new to REI & Bigger Pockets. Very excited to jump in and learn as much as possible. I have downloaded and began to read a majority of the books and guides on here and I love what I'm getting. If there is any advice or tips that anyone would like to pass on, I would love and greatly appreciate it, especially in wholesaling with little to no money. Hope to hear from some of you!
