I called first national bank, they will do helocs on rentals BUT it must be within 50 miles of a branch and Michigan isn't in their territory. I'll call chemical bank, but they are being acquired currently so this my not be the best time.

Does anyone know of any lenders that will do HELOCs on rental properties in MI?  I was verbally told Huntington Bank would do it, but I've yet to pursue them.  All the other banks I've asked have said they don't do this.

I'm looking for suggestions for banks that will do HELOCs on rental properties in MI.  Currently, I've only heard positive feedback from Huntington Bank (although I haven't actually gone forward with them yet).

We used Lake Michigan Credit Union (LCMU) successfully for a property in midtown in 2014.  We also used huntington bank for a property in corktown in 2015.  Both portfolio loans.
