I agree with Josh above. I majored in accounting and right now I work for a firm who has specialty groups, and the one I happened to join was construction and real estate (CORE) which has worked out very nicely and I have learned a ton from the more experienced members of the team, many of whom have multiple real estate investments.

Otherwise finance, sales, engineering, there are so many different ways you could go, all with different benefits.
