How much additional screening do you conduct with section 8 applicants? I am aware that section 8 conducts their own background checks for their applicants. Also most of your money comes from the government. So I was wondering what do you look for when screening section 8 applicants?

@Tim Herman Thank you for that information. I don’t have anything currently that I use to screen tenants. I have not yet secured the property and wanted to see what steps I needed to advertise and screen tenants for the property. If you don’t mind me asking how many properties do you have and do you think it’s hard to keep them rented ?

What are some methods of advertising do you guys use for rental properties? Also how do you scan your tenants?
