Hello Cameron, nice to meet you! I am also a Realtor/Investor in the North Alabama area - I am with First Choice Real Estate looking to acquire more leads.

Please keep me in mind if you find any off-market multi-family properties, me and my clients are always looking!

Hi Jeff, great question. I am also looking for leads on dealing with section 8 tenants. I have a document of some of the requirements your home needs to have to pass inspection, but I am having a hard time reaching anyone at the office.

Would like to see if anyone else has dealt with this in the Huntsville, Alabama market.

Thanks,

Hi Rusty, congrats on the apartment complex in Tuscaloosa. I miss going down there for the football games and to visit friends.

I am currently investing in the Huntsville, AL market and just recently acquired my real estate license so please do not hesitate to reach out. Huntsville, AL has been growing rapidly to accommodate for the jobs and personnel our city will be seeing in the upcoming years.

Thanks,

@Basit Siddiqi Understood - I was clarifying that I borrowed less than the $30k amount stated.

@Basit Siddiqi Basit, thanks for the confirmation on no tax actually being paid by the "lender". I got in contact with a local CPA and they let me know that the limit is actually $30k between a married couple and they would not have to file for a "Gift Tax" since the amount I borrowed was less than that.

Hello BP,

I am in search of a CPA in the North Alabama area that can answer several questions for me related to Capital and Real Estate.

One question in particular is that I was gifted capital for a renovation on a property and will need to have loan papers written up so me and my partner do not have to pay "Gift Tax" on the capital.

Has anyone ever experienced something like this and can drop some knowledge for me?

Thanks for the help,

Asa

Hi Keith - I am a Huntsville local and just recently purchased a triplex in February.

I'd love to be your boots on the ground in HSV if you're acquiring deals here.

Shoot me a DM so we can chat more!

@Todd Atkinson

Hi Todd - the multi family space here in Huntsville, AL is quite scarce for a good BRRRR deal...on market anyways.

Their are several off-market properties in the area, you just need to find a motivated seller.

Would you think about building a multi family building if the land was already available to you?

All in all what are you looking to know about the multi family space in the Huntsville, AL area?

Thanks,
