@Shaun Weekes

Ok so is the reason why I am wrong because I didn't know how many weeks there were specially for that year.

It only said per month so I thought my math would be correct

A borrower who is paid $14.50 per hour and works 30 hours per week, received __ per month?

A. $2320

B. $1885

C. $1740

D. $2500

So according to the instructor, the answer is B and the math they did to get $1885 is 14.50 x 30 x 52 / 12 = 1885

But the answer I got was $1740. I did 14.5 x 30 x 4 and it gave me 1740. So how am I wrong?

And where did that 52 come from ?

I know j have to get my nmls license which soon I will start studying for

But I was just reading a job posting for an assistant mlo / junior mlo, and they require some mortgage experience

So my question is coming from the retail world. What job you think I can get started to get some mortgage knowledge under my belt. At least until I get my nmls license.

What jobs you think will hire someone with supervisor skills, some too little accounting, office skills so I can get into some position that deals with mortgages so then I can jump into the mortgage loan officer job as my final destination

Anyone experienced or use a third party company to cover their used car 100k miles +

So if something breaks, this service would cover parts and labor and you just pay a $20-100 deductible fee at the mechanic shop.

Anyone use this type of service.

I am looking to get a used car with high mileage

@Mike Jacovelli I feel this way all the time and it’s usually because the people we tell don’t know jack **** about real estate so they think it’s impossible for us to reach our goals. It’s also negative energy but I try to feed of that negative energy as in positive energy and tell myself one day I will reach financial freedom first than them

@Scott Wolf oh ok. Well there is only one license required to be a MLO and that's the nmls license

@Andrew Postell it doesn't fit my schedule. That's the thing

@Eli Lederman, some employers require you to have a license from what I see in the job postings

I want to obtain my NMLS license in New York (where I live) because I would like to transition from working in retail to getting into the banking industry and working as a mortgage loan officer/originator.

I found a program on YouTube but they charge $380. Found books on Amazon for $50 under. But I am mostly a visual learner/audio learner at most.

Any ideas?

So I have a friend who achieved financial freedom with 10 homes in Florida with a real estate agent/property mgr who takes care of him.

I want to follow his steps. He told me that the best thing he ever done was become a mortgage loan officer because it paid the most money out of any job he ever had plus it was the least pressured & stressful job than any other and I want to know what ya think of this

He has done every possible job that exists related to real estate. He also done different management jobs in constructions. And out of all these jobs he has done.

Being a mortgage loan officer gave the most money, less stress, less pressure, he wishes he can start all over and focus on that instead of everything else

I want to follow him. He is family to me. I don’t see him as often

So I want to learn from the BP community what are the stepping stones to become a mortgage loan officer

I have 13 yrs of retail experience, 5yrs of which are supervisor/management experience

And an associates in business admin.

And I have been thinking of getting some certificates in finance/ management to make a resume stick out a bit more for the bank world and try to reach the goal of becoming a mortgage loan officer.

Any tips from the beet community out there
