@odie Ayaga thank you for the response. Have you ever heard off or used dohardmoney.com I have read a lot of mixed reviews about them. Some say fraud/scam some say they are really good. Trying to see if anyone on this site has actually used them. I literally have a house across the street from me that was foreclosed on price has recently been reduced. That im considering It's going for 138k I know this neighborhood and prices average is around 230k. I decided I was going try a rental first for the monthly extra income after I looked into flipping options. It does need some work.

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I have a question. I spoke with a person from dohardmoney.com today. Sounds great financing 100%.I have read mixed reviews about them however. Has anyone worked with them? If so what was your experience like? Would you suggest them or tell me to look the other way. I am new to REI so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

I talked with one of the hard money lenders listed on here. Dohardmoney.com has anyone dealt with them before? If so what was your experience?

Hello everyone,

So I am brand new to REI. I could not believe how much information I found on this site. I went through the course read the starting guides. I have to admit it feels rather overwhelming. So after going through the information I feel a little more ready than I was. I am looking into the fix and flip method to start out with. Does anyone have suggestions of where would be a good place to start looking for deals? I have been doing alot of searching through realtor.com Most of what I have come across is already pending. I am in NJ, but I have been looking at PA for opportunities.

I work a full time job so I am starting this out part time in REI.

Thanks in advance

First I would like to say hello to everyone. I just signed up on this site today and was amazed at the wealth of information I saw. I'll admit definately a little overwhelming. I am really new to Real estate Investing I have read alot about it but some of the information I read in the past I didnt quite understand. I am older now and I would really like to get into investing in real estate. A couple reasons is Number 1 of course the financial freedom that can be had with determination. Second I want to spend more time with my family. Third like I said I am a little older now I'll be 37 in May and would like to know that I have a plan for when I am ready to retire. My name is Arthur, but everyone calls me Art. I did have a question for any of these different strategies I saw in the free course. Do you need a real estate license? Thank you all for the wealth of information on this site.
