Our speaker this month is Alan McCormick. Alan is arguably the best land attorney in Montana. He will speak about the Legislature’s efforts at addressing the housing crisis, including the land use/subdivision bills he worked on, some of the bills the Legislature passed, as well as some of the ideas that did not get approved by the legislature. It will be a fun way to understand how laws make their way through the system, and how it is possible for someone to have a significant impact on the process.

The Missoula Real Estate Meetup has three main goals:

1. Learn more about the Missoula Market

2. Make authentic connections

3. Share strategies and information

As always, there will be no selling of any products or services, and it's always free to attend.

We meet the third Tuesday of every month at the Highlander, at 6:00 PM. We usually have 30-40 attendees.

Well I can't help with the Cleveland plans, but you're always welcome up at the Missoula Real Estate Meetup, every third Tuesday of the month. If you Google us our website should pop up, let me know if I can help with anything local!

I'll send you my recommendations privately, because BP usually removes posts with recommendations.

I'll reach out directly to you Scott, Bigger Pocket's doesn't like posting the recommendations on the thread for whatever reason.

My partner and I are about to set up a 506(c) syndication for developing industrial condos, and we are in discussions with a potential partner who would focus on finding leads for land. If he starts making cold calls and eventually brings a lead in that we buy, what percentage of the GP stake should he earn? Has anyone here given the lead-finder a percentage stake of the GP before? Any insight or experience would be greatly appreciated.
