Hey guys! I'm trying to find lenders that can do Bank Statement Loans. I took advantage of writing off everything on my taxes since I'm self-employed and now it's biting me in the butt!! I have an excellent credit score, decent down payment but just need to find some companies that may finance me without having to put down more than 20%. Thanks in advance for any help you may have!

@Darius Ogloza Yes, I do still have family there and my uncle is a contractor so I have SOME help! I"m just a very hands on person but i'll have to activate some faith on this one!

@Erik W. I currently reside in California - one of the most expensive places to purchase or live! So, this is not an option, not for my first investment property. Maybe if this Indianapolis property makes me rich, i can invest closer to home next time!

I am brand stankin' new to this site but I've put off Real Estate investing long enough! Now only to find a multi family property in Indianapolis (my hometown). My biggest hold back has been the "FEAR OF MAKING A BAD DECISION"! 

There's so many decisions I'm reading about: pick a niche area, single or multi, renters or flips, and on and on! I'm also fearful to get a property 3000 miles away where I can't just drive by and check on it at 3am when I can't sleep because of it! 

HOWEVER...SCARED MONEY DOESN'T MAKE MONEY! I'm finally just going to do it! I've prayed about it long enough and now I just have to step out on faith and research and due diligence!

I would love any advice on the Indianapolis market, investing from afar, first time purchases, property management, contractors, etc. I'm interested in multi's within 10 miles of downtown Indy in the yellow area of @Sterling White's map!
