Post: Business Card Information

Hi, Congrats on your first post!

I feel like if you put the time into checking all of these different mediums, then why not put them on a business card. If you don't then you could be throwing peoples time and or possible interest down the tubes, so I would keep it to what you will check, and check often.

It may be a bit cost prohibitive, but having more than one business card to use can help. For example, if you were heading to a bank or networking with potential investors, having a card that lists your title as "Co-Founder" or "Vice President" carries more weight than say "Property Manager". Though your friend brings up a valid point, I also like having some anonymity when in negotiations. The beauty of your own business is giving yourself a title, so as long as you are both on board, it can be anything.

I don't believe you need to put LLC on the card as far as legally, but if its going to help you look more legitimate, I would.

Hope this helps!

In my expierience, the difference in property taxes in most situations when comparing these two city’s makes Stamford a better buy for the same price. Finding a deal that you would want to live in is the most important step. Let me know if you would like to talk markets anytime.

Hi Mack,

I am a real estate investor for myself and family business. I live in Connecticut as well and love the Stamford area. We focus on mostly small multi families and we Have found that for our us, the market is very hot right now and that there are better investments in other places in Connecticut.

I would love to chat, let me know if you want to connect

I am a new investor who is purchasing a quadplex as an investment. Since I am probably not going to be living in the new home, should I bother creating an LLC and purchase the home through there or should I purchase the home personally.

@Michael Hooper Just to add onto Michael’s question, should you notify the bank that you are transferring the deed via quit claim into an LLC? Or will they find out anyway?
