@Joelowens I am medically retired from the navy and my wife had a good job. So we do not need to live off of the generated cash flow. I've dealt with tenants and want to go another route. I'm considering group homes or flipping and reinvesting well as purchasing apartment complexes if need be. I'm currently reading a lot of real estate material to acquire more knowledge as well as taking a real estate licensing course not to become an agent but to learn more and In a classroom setting. My overall goal is to wisely invest and be financially free in 5-10 years so me nor my wife will ever have to work again. I'm in no hurry I just want to make wise decisions. We are also creating an llc to put the assets under. I hope this helps!

I am selling all 3 properties I have inherited with interested buyers for all. The value totals up to close to 800,000$. Me and my wife are creating our own llc to put it under and want to start investing but aren't quite sure where to begin. We live in va beach but are thinking about investing in Charlotte properties since it is an up and coming market. We have enrolled in real estate classes. Any suggestions???

Thank you both for your replies. I am looking to sell or to donate the church property. If I sell I would use the funds to fix the other two properties. I also plan on using the additional funds from the church to possibly purchase and flip a few more properties. I have a lot of non profit organizations trying to get me to donate to them. Which leads me to believe that they know something I don't know!! Therefore I enrolled in real estate school to obtain my license. This is because I need more on hands knowledge before I jump into this. I'm being patient. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I hsve inherited 3 properties from my father, 1 church property and 2 residential properties, I have been looking into starting group homes, i am completely new and I need advice.
