Yeah that makes sense. If I were to get this property, before purchasing I would want to send a contractor there first figure out all the money needed to make it work before moving forward with anything correct?

Thanks for the reply, I do live close to the property about an hour or so. I haven’t found a contractor yet, I started looking however. I’m also looking for 100% financing with hard money so I’m looking for that as well right now. After looking at comps in the area I would say the property should be at 200k arv. Given that could be wrong as well because I’m new.

I found a property in New Jersey thats in dire need of fixing and I'm looking to see if theres anybody in the area with knowledge that can help me out. This would be my first deal done if it gets done. Any help would be appreciated.
