@Shera Gregory Never thought to call the banks/credit unions before I established credit. I had no credit two months ago. There will be no need for credit repair now and hopefully never!

@Scott Mac thanks! I’ll do some more research.

@Scott Mac Rich Dad, Poor Dad was the first book I read. Like many others, it changed my whole mindset. Still trying to figure out the best way to get a good credit rating. There is a lot of mixed reviews out there on the internet!

@Alexander Felice Sounds like I have to get out there and network more! Thanks for the feedback.

@Shera Gregory I’m leaning towards house hacking for my first property. My fiancé and I (both still living with parents/grandparents) are going to be looking to move out in the near future. We want to stay within our local market. From there, I would like to do some single family flips. Then transition into more rentals.

Thanks for the advice on open houses. I will be sure to get to some to fully understand the market.

@Alexander Felice I’m actively learning 2-3 hours per day and plan to meet up with experienced investors/attend meetings.

I know what market I will be investing in. Any advice on analyzing deals?

I'm a 23 year old recent college graduate that wants to dive in the world of real estate investing. I'm been focusing on real estate education by reading books, podcasts, and BP for some time now. Two months ago, I got my first credit card in order to build credit.

How should I focus on building credit?

Other than building credit and saving capital, what else should I be doing to prepare for my first deal (which I hope to be sooner rather than later)?

Thanks!
