I have to disagree, the Iphone (not the android) camera, is on par with quality $700-$1000 cameras.

I use a knockoff version of Beastgrip

I like looking for the needle in the haystack type things as well, I drove agents crazy buying my first properties, I was not even into real estate as an investment then, was simply a buyer.

Now I know, I will never have a good relationship with an agent, when I want them to show me 100+ properties a year, I maybe want to make an offer on 2 or 3 of those, and I want to make those offers drastically under market value. (and I want the agent to help me find this deal, and not purchase it themselves, or recommend it to their contractor connections).

This is why I just graduated Real Estate School, and am on my way to getting my own agency :)  I dont even have to be the best agent in the world, the process of becoming an agent, working the game, and meeting the contacts, will certainly make me a better real estate investor, flipper, or land lord. (probably become a better agent scout as well if I decide to drop that hat).

In colorado this is a bit harder than most other states, but is certainly as easy as getting a GED.

Humanity may or may not let AI get carried away to the point of our destruction, but we can not ignore the fact that this "Technical Age" we live in, changes our way of life. The fact that the average person holds a device in their hand 24/hrs a day that can answer any question they may have. is simply GAME CHANGING. Even if the average person mostly uses it to play angry birds and the like :)

Currently 3d printers are printing concrete houses in china. 3d printing tech, could certainly change the general contractor and home builder markets as it evolves. Someday instead of contractors hiring 10 dollar an hour laborers, they could simply invest in the purchase of a labor bot. A foreman could become more cad programmer/architect/designer and less a personnel manager.

I think long before AI becomes a species ending threat, we will see new RE opportunities in mars domes, asteroid mining claims/housing and third world development explosion after the one world government world war rebuilding.

I mean, as long as we are speculating :)
