Hi BP Nation! I am currently setting up my CRM to support our fledgeling SFR wholesaling company Pass Go Investments. Decided to use Salesforce.com because of my background with the tool, but in need help! How have other successful wholesalers broken down their steps for moving an opportunity from "new" to "closed - won"? I want to be detailed and thoughtful about capturing the right information... but I also don't want to over complicate things. I'll be super grateful to anybody who can provide me examples of their sales path step-by-step.

Fantastic advise! Can't believe I overlooked the SF Success community, what a no-brainer... :) I will do just as you suggest. A quick demo from a vendor rep is sure to reveal some good nuggets of info. Thank you!

Anybody have success using salesforce.com? I know they are the gold standard in pretty much every other business vertical, but I don't hear them getting much play when it comes to real estate investing.

Hi BP Nation!

Let's assume an agent (whether in-house staff or 3rd party vendor) has qualified a lead as a motivated seller and a live call has been transferred to an aquisitions manager (the person who negotiates/contracts the deal)...

What particular steps should be followed when moving this opportunity from "New" to "Deal Closed"?

Also, should the aquisition manager be making offers on the phone without ever having seen the property?

Thank you everyone helping a newbie out!

(P.S.  Would be especially greatful if @Lance Wakefield would be able to provide insight.)
