Should I become an LLC? Pros and Cons? I have two rental properties in Massachusetts. I am wondering if my legal responsibility will increase if I get a business license?

Is it beneficial to become an LLC (business license). I know there are some perks however I wonder if I'll have greater legal responsibility? I own 2 properties in the state of Massachusetts, is it a good idea? Any tips?

Stay ahead of professional tenants

@Jeff Tyndall As a healthcare professional your tenants concerns are legitimate. Don't push the issue! If your property is in Massachusetts the tenant may find a way to sue you, and win. Also...who is willing to move during this pandemic? The best thing to do is wait for them to move out. You don't want to upset them and they decide to stay and you can't evict them right now. Just be patient and show the place in May. This doesn't sound like it will end well if you insist on showing the place during these difficult times.

I held my breath when Trump said "there will be an eviction fresh". I thought to myself " landlords will have to file bankruptcy". I am pleased that the all of the tenants in my 4units have paid their rent for April. How long will they be able to keep up? That's the scary part. Like others I
