I would like to get a boiler tuned up for one of my properties. I doubt the previous owner did much maintenance on it, even though it is working. I heard PSEG will service boilers but will charge about $300 alone just for an inspection before any repairs . They also have a monthly program for about $10.70 which involves them fixing the boiler for certain things if there is an issue...I wanted to know if anyone has used any of their services and if it was worth it? Or if you can recommend another affordable option for an inspection and services...

@Vaughn Smith...Ok I'll have a look. but I probably won't be able to order until about 2 weeks from now. I hope there are more sales on the way..

@George Rodrigues the tiles that you are referring to seems like they are laminate and not Vinyl Planks. Where do you find these Lowes markdown deals?

Greetings, I'm tryna find some sales/discounts on flooring. Any suggestions or leads for upcoming holiday sales?

@Nathan Gesner How many extra boxes would you suggest?

Greetings BP,

I need to do flooring on a condo that will become a rental. I will need approximately 950sq ft of vinly planks. I came across a local flooring store where they found discontinued lvp from a warehouse for $1.09 sq ft. In total with delivery its comes out to about $1,230.

The brand is Tarkett and the lvp is 20mil. I have been able to see two samples in person and it seems like pretty good quality stuff. The vendor said its original price was probably around $2.5- $3.0 a sq ft. It even has a slight padding attached. This would be a glue down tile. There is one I like more than the other, my only issue is that the surface of that LVP is very smooth and not textured. Nevertheless, for the money I'm paying...it is quite a discount.

Is this is homerun?

Anything I should be weary of when buying a discontinued product at a reduced price?

@Greg Scott, that's what I figured...the HOA said say they are responsible for everything on the outside

@Peter Walther, so I'm considering buying a condo and my attorney is suggesting that I do a survey, but I don't think I will need it because I don't have any outside land. Would you agree?
