Maybe I did not explain my situation.. I am really not looking to get any help from a brokerage firm in acquiring customers. I will actually bring my own customers including myself. In return for allowing me to use the brokerage name, to help with investments for myself and my friends and family, I expect the brokerage would take their cut from the buyers agent commission. Since I bring all the customers, I think, I should be making larger cut of the commission. Does that make sense?
So, if 95% is not the going rate in an arrangement like this, what rate should I expect?
If I can start my own business now I would, but the rule is that I need to work for a brokerage first few years as a real estate salesperson.
