Just be aware that it is illegal without a permit. They are currently not taking applicants. So you would be risking $1000 a night fines if caught. There are 9000ish illegal STRs here, I know 3 people who have been shut down in the last 6 months.

Rent out the extra rooms instead.

Hello Las Vegas BP people! I am trying to connect with anyone that has some information regarding short term rentals here in Las vegas. I would get a 0% down credit-card. You will most likely need 10-15k based on the size of the property and how you want to furnish it. I have a list of crucial items on an excel spreadsheet that are crucial to getting started. Let me know if I should send that your way.

Just start reading the forum and that will get you most of the way there. There is so much information that there is no way to explain it all here.

Also, are you sure you can STR that house? Las Vegas has a lot of restrictions within the city.

I’ve looked into the locations available, and it’s said that as long as it’s not located within the area code of the casinos! But will do, I’ll see what I can dig up here, thanks!
