@Dave Madden  -- From what I have observed, Green Hills is overpriced in general from an investment perspective unless you are willing to Buy and Hold or find a rare good deal. South Nashville and suburbs are a much better bet.

@Kane Waterbury Good luck with your house hunting. I tend to gravitate towards places where its easier to build equity beyond the inner city because of negative cash flows.

Hi Everyone - I am hunting for an investment property in Nashville,TN which will be my first one. The intent is to also use it as a primary residence as well. I am somewhat aware of the hot market, but want to test the waters. Not a professional investor, but open to working with others

Would appreciate any suggestions / recommendations / do's / do not's.
