Bill S. Interesting perspective on weather. I mean, I could see that being a factor. How many less snow/bad weather days does Denver really get less of? I suppose Anthony Hurlburt y has answered that. But you could make that an argument for any major city that has not so great conditions. Thanks for sharing that data point.

Thanks Martin Carstens Those are very interesting points about location relative to other major cities. And SLC supporting more international flights and connections. People say the transportation system is pretty good there which is also a reason I think investing in north south expansion and areas close to the stations would be worth looking into.

Wes Blackwell thanks for sharing those resources. The first link from Bizjournals doesn't paint a positive picture, while the second article does -- Ie diversity and mixed growth in the right areas sound promising but mixed at the moment. It would benefit all if Sacramento could become another/new hub for tech given the proximity to all the companies, capital and talent here in the Bay Area. Looking forward to seeing how the trend continues to unfold next two quarters. Pls keep sharing with the community! And thanks again.

Hi BP, I'm doing research into various markets and SLC is an area I'm looking to learn about. My strategy is to look for long term buy and hold rentals that are either SFR or multi. I live out of state so I won't be close to manage it. Wondering if the community has any recommendations on where to start looking, up and coming neighborhoods, trends that I should keep an eye out for outside of what I can read on the internet. I'm also open to looking north and south of SLC in areas that include Ogden down to Provo. Have heard good things about Bluffdale, Vineyard as 'up and coming' areas. Hoping to take a trip out there soon. Thanks, Andy

The migration and growth to Sacramento makes sense from millennial and boomers. Wes Blackwell are you seeing job market that supports it there? Curious what you're hearing and seeing from the clients you're talking to.
Hi Marco Santarelli I'm curious to learn more about potential opportunities in turnkey properties in San Antonio as well. Could you keep me in touch?

Hey Boris Liubovitch I'm interested in the next local meetup in the Bay Area. We have similar goal. Also like you I'm interested in investing in Texas. I live in peninsula. Would you be open to meeting/connecting over coffee?

Hi everyone, I'm researching SLC and will be heading there on a few weeks to visit a friend and check out the market. The last post on this thread was >5mo ago. Curious if there is any first hand/boots on the ground knowledge of the Ogden to SLC to Provo market is like today. If I like what I see and the numbers support it I'll be making more than one trip.
Thanks Stephen Anderson can you pls share an email address that we can connect on? I will follow up.
Thanks Anthony Dooley that's exactly why I'm kicking the idea around. are there any particular markets you work with that you're keen on?
