@Andy Cairns I have used VAs for my personal portfolio as well as for our property management division. They can take a lot of training but are great if you have good systems in place.

Where did you hire VA's? We have some good process and systems in place and we are not scared of making them more robust. Any advice on hiring VA's?

@Andy Cairns what I have done that works well is instead of opening a message on the Google Voice app, I just open it on the gmail account so I can then mark it as unread if I want to. This has been an easy work around for me thus far. It used to be even easier when we could link Google Voice to Hangout because Hangout let us text from any computer, etc. I wish they still had that and it was a sad day when they discontinued it.

I use Ring Central for my realtor business and it is not great. I actually like the free Google Voice service way better.

Hi, yes i agree it was much better when I could unread messages, thats my biggest gripe since we have 3 partners and we sometimes by accident read a message and then it becomes a process. I have heard some very good things about Ring Central, what has been your experience?

I very much enjoy the chat feature of Discord, I just wish I could automate the SMS into Discord.

Hi all,

I am looking to make my business a bit more streamlined. We are 3 JV partners on all deals. We have 1 Google Voice number setup (tenants, screening, maintenance, pretty much everything) , but Google Voice isnt great, as only one person can really view messages otherwise they show as read etc, so I am looking for a better solution, what do others in a similar situation do, is there a need fore more than one number? We currently use Discord for chat which is great since we can break out each chat per property, does anyone know of an integration that would allow texts/phone calls. How do you communicate with multiple partners and tenants?

Cheers

Andy

are you looking for a service or hiring your own?

I am looking for either or if there is a service that has some experience that would be great.

Hey folks, has anyone used successfully a virtual property manager to do help manage properties...my portfolio is getting to the size where is becoming a bit large to manage, keep up with rent checks, dispatch maintenance folks and looking for some virtual assistance...
