Thank you to everyone who replied for all your wisdom and feedback.  I will definitely focus on assembling my "core" team, and hopefully use those people to network out to other great individuals with whom I can work well. This definitely gives me a strong list of new people I will be keeping my eye out for as I continue to grow.

Tim, I really appreciate the feedback. I especially like the mentality of teams assembling more organically as you realize the need for different positions to be filled. I'll be sure to keep my eyes and ears open for potential, as you never really do know when a great teammate or partner will come along.

My partner and I are currently trying to assemble our team for investing in a fixer-upper which we would either rent or sell once complete. We are in the process of assembling team members to help us with our goals, and we want to know about some team members we may not have thought of. So far, we have begun to reach out to fill some of the obvious positions like realtors, lenders, lawyers, CPAs, and contractors. Are there any other categories of people we should be engaging with who would be important not to forget?  Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

Post: Good Websites for Property Analysis

Hello!

I am relatively new to real estate, and am mostly in the research phase right now. I'm learning about the different markets in my region (northeast New Jersey) and have been using the BP rental property calculator to analyze properties in different towns near me.

I know the data that I could collect from Zillow, Redfin, and other MLS-syndicated sites aren't always the most accurate. I was wondering if anyone had any websites or apps they liked when collecting data for different regions/towns, such as property tax info, rental averages, etc., which might be a bit more reliable and accurate. My hope to is be more confident in my numbers when I plug them into the BP calculators so I can know for sure when I have found a good deal.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!!
