I'm looking for (2-4 unit) multifamilies in my market. I'm trying to use the On-Market Deal Finder on this site but it doesn't list multifamilies as an option, just SFR, Townhouse, Condos, Co-Op, or All. Why doesn't this site give the option to look for multifamlies? Or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

Hey @Andrew Lawn. What market/city are you in?

I'm in the Greater New Haven area, CT.

Have you ever looked on Crexi or Realtor.com for multi-families?

Mostly just zillow, Redfin, and BP. I've never heard of Crexi I'll check that out. I really like BPs insights though on the properties. I can see the listing if I look up the specific address, just can't search for multis in general. It's really disappointing.

New to bigger pockets w/Pro. I've been looking in deal finder for properties and noticed to multi families aren't showing up in map view, but when I search them by address the listing appears. Am I doing something wrong? How do I search for multi families in deal finder?

Thanks.

I am a first time home buyer looking to purchase a home/multi-family property. I've been interested in Real Estate for a long time now, was even a loan originator at one point. My goal is to obtain finacial independence and grow that towards generational wealth. Strategies I'm interested in are flippling, house hacking, rentals, medium term rentals, and maybe others. I have a 9-5 that I want out of but want to secure at least my first property prior to leaving it. To be clear, I will keep working but want to be self employeed in the home services business.

Looking forward to see what I can learn from this community.

Thank you.

I'm new to Bigger Pockets and looking to buy my first house/multi. I would love to see a mentorship series on Bigger pockets that walks one or possibly multiple candidates through the process of investing in their first property.
